No. A thousand times, no.
If you execute the command enough that it matters, you will eventually
get into the habit of automatically nailing "yes" to the prompt. I have
seen this happen with people who alias rm to "rm -i". It doesn't work.
Now, some people aliased "rm" to "mv $1 ~/.Garbage". That wasn't bad.
It screws up rm in some subtle ways, but it's not bad for beginners.
To be able to do useful stuff on a system, you also have to have the
capability of screwing it up royally.
