Intel is inferior in comparison. Intel is slow in comparison. Intel has fewer features/capabilities in comparison. Intel is part of the Evil Empire. ;) <--- smiley. ATI is not fully supported and is in the middle in performance and capabilities on Linux. ATI has inadequate developer support. NVIDIA has the best of performance, features, and support.
