You had my hopes up for a second there. I was just at Fry's and they are
out of what I need: Dual Port Pro/1000 MT Server Adapter card. I needed
two more.

I use these puppies under OpenBSD for firewalls. I do use the single
port units as a sniffer port for our IDS. The IDS is on Linux. I am very
happy with the cards in both cases. So much so that I am willing to keep
paying $200 for the dual port units. I have 6 of them already.

Good signal, good noise tolerance, handles very logn cable lengths well
(beyond spec), goes Gig. Drivers work great. I am happy with my cards.
