You had my hopes up for a second there. I was just at Fry's and they are out of what I need: Dual Port Pro/1000 MT Server Adapter card. I needed two more.
I use these puppies under OpenBSD for firewalls. I do use the single port units as a sniffer port for our IDS. The IDS is on Linux. I am very happy with the cards in both cases. So much so that I am willing to keep paying $200 for the dual port units. I have 6 of them already. Good signal, good noise tolerance, handles very logn cable lengths well (beyond spec), goes Gig. Drivers work great. I am happy with my cards.
