I ran across what appears to be a good deal on Intel gigabit ethernet
adapters, the Intel Pro 1000MT from here:
http://tekgems.com/Products/la-lc04.htm?frg-20070623
This is a slightly older version of the current Intel Pro 1000GT, which
doesn't seem to add any capabilities, only that it is lead-free (Lead
the element, not lead the connections).
I've read that this card performs well under Linux which can utilize the
TCP checksum offload feature. Anyone have experience with these cards
care to comment?
Thanks,
Gus
