OK, I'll try again...
Nope.  SELinux intercepts and I get the dialog back asking again for the
user name and password for "CUPS".

Oh, sorry, FC7.

Turn of SELinux for long enough to configure the printer?  Maybe just
leave it in "advisory" mode?
