Well, I still remember sitting in Toronto and reading their local newspaper ...

And realizing that it took longer than 5 minutes to read the Op-Ed page.

That was a pretty stunning realization of how far our press had fallen.

There were complex ideas on the page. There were words above a 5th grade level. Brain cells actually had to activate to process the articles.

I used to get that same feel when reading the New York Times. That hasn't happened in probably about 15 years.
