Interesting.

I think what we're witnessing is svn's living up to its charter, to "be a
compelling replacement for cvs." That's not a very high bar to clear. svn
has the advantage of practically dropping in for cvs in user skills
needed.

But we could have hoped for more. Still, improvement is improvement.
