So I am looking for a laptop and I obviously don't want to pay the microsoft tax. I've found a few sites like system76, zareason, shoprcubed, and mgepconline. I don't want to buy a laptop that will crumble while I am lugging it from class to class, but I don't expect to be throwing it against a wall. I was wondering If anyone knows of any good reviews or has personal experiences with shopping for a linux laptop that they would like to share. Also, I am not looking for a dinky little laptop, I code, and I am used to dual monitors and it's a painful enough for me to use the single 1280x1024 monitor at work - So I would prefer a laptop with something around 1050 res. but not weight a ton like my last laptop (while I'm at it, throw in a perpetual motion machine for under 2 grand). Thx in advance
