Doesn't "all right" -> "alright" count as coining a synonym? There's no
conflict with an existing word (such as you get with "can't" -> "cant"),
nor does it introduce any sort of ambiguity.

I can not see why you would object. You ca'n't be seriously considering
invoking the LART of Grammar Pedantry over such spelling, and if you
are, we cannot stand by and let you get away with it.
