My AT&T 2wire DSL modem/router crapped out yesterday, and I'm not sure if the problem is with the router itself or the power
supply/AC adapter. I'd like to try a new adapter before I replace
the router; does anybody know where I might be able to find a
compatible one locally, and preferably cheaply?

Shouldn't that be covered by AT&T?

I don't think so. This particular piece of hardware I bought off eBay (about a year ago) as an upgrade to the one I originally got from AT&T back when I started service.

I'm planning to call AT&T today to see what they might be able to do, but I'm looking into every avenue at once so I can restore the connection ASAP.

So... location for cheap power adapters, anyone?
