I know I set up my Linksys WRT54GL access point correctly because
my wife can do wifi to it on her Windows2000 laptop late at night or

It chokes during the day.
All I can guess is that the number of people doing wifi shoots up during
the day such that interference is unbearable for my little Linksys access
point.
I can't believe wifi is that susceptable and I'm at a loss as to what to do.
Should I buy a bunch of repeaters to push my signal above my neighbor's
interference? Is that all I can do?
Signal Strength.
Does it work during the day if the computer is only 2 feet from the AP?
What does the signal strength indicator on the W2K machine show daytime
vs. nighttime?
If it's weak, try a directional antenna or move the AP closer to the
computers with which it is used? Avoid more than a few feet of cable
between the antenna and the AP, you'll loose a lot there. Sometimes,
just moving the AP a few feet can make a big difference in signal
strength. You know, water pipes, wiring in the walls, screen behind the
plaster, etc.
