While your problem seems to be have been solved, just a comment.

I use K3b and have only made two coasters so far. Once because I started the burn while K3b was still calculating the MD5 of the ISO. Subsequent patience delivered a good copy. The other time I accidentally selected Make Data DVD rather than Make ISO. Subsequent increased attentiveness and a slap upside the head produced a good copy. And a headache. I hit harrrd!

I use DVD-R because I was told that it worked better for ISO's, where DVD+R is more suitable for data. I also only use Fujifilm media because someone whom I trusted at the time tested a bunch of brands, and the Fuji's came out on top. Whether either of those bits of advice is true or just anecdotal opinion, I care not. Why mess with what works.

While I can be a CB with the best of 'em, I figure the last place I want to cheap out is with media. Otherwise, what's the point.

One thing I really like about tkDVD is it shows you the command line that is being built based on the selections in the GUI app. Now that I have that I'll always have 2 options to execute the process (yeah google is there and LDP, etc, etc too). And I always want the CLI in case some GUI app is not available.

Does K3B have this capability to show the CL string? Are there other apps people know of that do this?
