I can see why. I don't know much about what I see in config.log, but it does seem to keep trying to use g++ even though it knows that it's not there. I don't know how to get g++ but here's the contents of the log file:

rpm -qf /usr/bin/g++
gcc-c++-4.1.1-1.fc5
