Well, I *do* try to present my ideas in a logical order. The reader should say "But what about X?" just before he comes to a paragraph that says "Now let us consider the case of X..." I've gotten better about reading a whole email before starting my reply, but I still haven't gotten down the habit of reading the whole *thread* before starting a reply. :-/ -- A lot of people read my messages in reverse, it seems.
