I think a lot of people use Skype because it is easy to use. You don't
have to do anything with router settings or set up a seperate account
with a service provider. Also, Skype's subscription rates ($3/month
for unlimited US phone calling) are very good for someone who calls a
lot.

How easy is it for the average person to get a good SIP set up
working? Is there a general consensus on the best sip providers?
