I had forgotten a lot of what was presented there. The second time

Someone on the list mentioned that he was for reducing the military.
This video gives a good glimpse into just what he has in mind in that
regard, and I must agree with him. We have no business policing the
world and meddling in the governments of other countries. We are
overextended, and it is wasting money at an alarming rate.
According to the video:
Ron Paul has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an
unbalanced budget. He has never voted to raise congressional pay. He
has never taken a government-paid junket. He voted against the patriot
act. He voted against regulating the internet. He voted against the
Iraq war. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun
ownership. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive
branch.
He wants to abolish the federal income tax and the Federal Reserve
(which is *NOT* federal at all, but a private institution owned by
foreigners). He believes the Founding Fathers never intended a country
where we have to pay nearly half of our wages to the government. He
wants to reduce government. He wants to freeze inflation. He wants to
funnel our wealth to build up our own country, not police others and
pour money into wars we don't declare and never win.
I hadn't heard of the guy before about 2 months ago. But so far, I
haven't heard anything about him that I don't like. But then again, I
haven't heard much about him at all. Anyone?
I like what Ron Paul says. I might not be quite so radical on his removal
of troops from everywhere outside our borders, but we are overextended. I do
have a problem with Paul and earmarks, and this article by Joseph Farah
explains it. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59380
Do you have any idea how long it took me to determine where I stopped
and you started?!
Put a couple of line feeds, PLEASE!
