I have two reasons for staying in the red hat mainstream. 1. my invested time in finding where all the bodies are burried 2. my interest in the business-of-linux world because (quite wrongly) the world's PHBs think "redhat == linux" However, every three years or so, red hat and/or linux do something that both pisses me off and confuses me, and I rant and thrash until I accomodate.
