Ah, there's a disconnect. You expect to know everyone in range of your
WAP; I don't.  I don't know you from a hole in the wall... it's just
some guy walking up saying "Hey, do you run a wireless network? What
kind?"

Plus, if you phrased it that way, the answer would be "No".
