Wrong.  Society has a requirement to do so.  An education is not a gift to your 
child, it's your child's *right*.  You have no right to comprimise it.  If 
you're capable of providing a minimal level, that's fine.  But to protect your 
children's rights, society has not only a reason but the duty to ensure that 
they receive their full due.  If that means interfering with what you want, too 
damn bad.
