What will the experienced guys (most of kplug these days) do during the

Gee... Meetings oriented towards newbies with a bunch of seasoned
experienced KPLUG guys standing around with nothing to do?

I wonder how they got to be seasoned and experienced?

I am sure no one helped explain things to them when they were starting
out. Their experience and knowledge probably popped fully formed into
their heads one day while they were busy standing around making fun of
people who were not as smart as they were.

Nice snub. Tracy is one of our most prolific presenters. Your criticism is
misplaced.

I was not criticizing Tracy. I was criticizing what he wrote. Each of us is capable of saying stupid things even when we generally are thoughtful and helpful most of the time.

And, mailists that do not use emoticons are very narrow-band channels of communication.

It may very well be that Tracy was making a joke but there was nothing to indicate that that was the case.
