One has to be quite trusting to have had a company like Microsoft pull the stunts they have and then give them a blank check because specific proof isn't available. I tend to go the other way and require more proof of they are not doing this or that. But I was an OS/2 and UNIX developer in the 90s so I've experienced the beast and their deeds directly.
