Not necessarily. What are the environments? Which distro? and is it 32
bit or 64? Which version of FF?

I had awful problems with Ubuntu 7.04 64 bit and FF and flash, none
with the 32. Once 7.10 and 8.04 came out I still haven't had any
issues with 32 or 64.  My Debinn box (etch) however only seems to work
well with 32 bit and I have to use the actual FF not IceWeasel.
