How many do you have/want to convert? It isn't exactly one of the more pleasant tasks I've done. I suggest paying a company that does it (see below). Other important questions, do you care about meaningful chapter markers and stuff like that. A service that puts in chapters, and designs decent menus and stuff is going to charge quite a bit. Depending on what you're looking for, I would expect to pay from tens of dollars to tens of thousands for this service. If I had conversions to do, I would probably pay for the service, even though I have all of the needed equipment to do it. dvdyourmemories.com does it for $15-45 depending on the length of the tape.
