Windowmaker does something like that, and I find it VERY annoying. Especially when I move a window from one desktop to another, and new windows from that one show up on the original desktop where I started. I spent some time trying to figure out how to get it NOT to do that, with incomplete success. -- Nothing is perfect. All is impure. Endure, but not without complaint.
