I presume 2003 is equivalent to Office XP?  I haven't used Office for so
long that I don't actually know anymore.

If OpenOffice had a functioning stats package (it used to work in 1.X),
I could punt Microsoft altogether.

Maybe I should just suck it up and learn R already ...


You could go back in time about 25 years and learn S instead.  :-)
S is to R as B is to C.
