Sure. That's just a different statement, is all. "X happened to me" is a different statement than "X happens to everyone."

Just like "I've never needed to rewrite code from scratch" is different from "nobody ever needs to rewrite code from scratch" or "I'll don't expect to ever find C# useful" is different from "Nobody will ever find C# useful."
