How is this question relevant?  Chuck has developed several chips.  Other
companies have made many more chips using other tools.  Chuck is very
bright, but also good at making tools that most other people can't use.

My chip design experience is making simple state machines.  I've never had
time to do anything else.  My lack of experience has nothing to do with
whether or not Chuck's tools are any good.  It might be very possible that
Chuck is just real smart.  That not many people use his tools.
