I have been using FC3 along with SBC for a while now. If you are using a router/switch it will be a little bit different, but this is how you can get it going with just your DSL modem.
Go to your applications tab and select: System Settings > Red Hat Network Configuration
at this point you will have to give your root password, unless you are logged in as root. once the configuration tool starts click on new. It will give you various options to add a new device, click on the xDSL option and then click forward. On the next screen you will have to make sure the correct ethernet device is selected and then enter a name for the account and your user name and password (for sbc don't forget that the whole user name is [EMAIL PROTECTED]). When you click finish that should be it. Since it is a DSL connection it knows that it has to be dhcp, but if you want to have it start when the computer boots you will need to edit it from the network configuration tool and then check the appropriate box, you can change any other settings you want to from there too. hope this helps.
