I need a low cost dialup ISP for a friend. Looking at nethere.com,
tns.com, and peoplepc.com. Have heard a lot of complaints about
peoplepc's support, but not the actual service. Doesn't need to be
linux friendly, just able to be used by linux, of course.
Thanks,

For people who just want basic dial-up(the poor devils), I usually
recommend internet express (www.ixpres.com).
I have access to faster connections, but I keep this around as a backup.
It's not really cheap, but it isn't really expensive either(~$5 -
$15/month, depending on type pf service). My experience with their
support is fairly good, and I have been using it for years and found it
to be reliable, but slow(4-5Kbps for basic service), but hey, it's dial-up.
