quits after complaining a few times with the pop-up window. The setting 1024x768 is listed as one of the possible settings in the brief manual that came with the monitor so I would think it would run OK with that setting...
There should be an "information" item in the monitor's on-screen menu. It will tell you the resolution, but also the H and V scan frequencies (Well, mine only shows V). Then you can see how hard it's being pushed.
