My home is like that. I tried several units. I found that units with
only one antenna did not perform as well as those with two. Also once
I found the unit i liked (Linksys WRT54G series) I swapped the stock a
antennas with replacements from Radio Shack. If I remember correctly
the stock were rated at 2.5 and the replacements were 5.x something. I
think Best Buy also sold replacements but the cost was much higher
then Radio Shacks. Double from what I recall. I spent 30 and I think
BB wanted 60. Which was more then the cost of the router.
