That's gotta be your call. Myth handles multiple channels by having multiple converter cards each with its own tuner. If there is a converter box, Myth has to flash channel changes with a little IR blinker hung or taped over the converter's remote eye. Thus back to one channel at a time for the converter box. My understanding is that current PVRs rented from the cable moguls can handle multiple channels, but I don't know if there are digital limitations to this. And of course, part of the Myth advantage is that you can transcode your recordings and burn them to DVD. This kind of flexibility plus the multiple channels keep me from digital, but the present resolution is just fine with me, so WTF. Whenever I give advice on Myth, I always expect and appreciate fact checking from Gus and Josh.
