I have a definite maybe at the moment.
During the past couple of days I have been working with Qemu, which is
aimed at being an open-source replacement for VMWare. So far, I have
been able to run versions of Knoppix in the emulator. Today I will
try loading W98se to see how that works. I can get some ready-made
canned images of other operating systems too.
Very much a "work in progress". One of the goals is to run TurboTax
in the emulated Windows environment. I hope this comes along before
April 15, just on principle.
