Hi All

OK, You have a virgin machine and You want to install a windows and then a
linux on it also? Let me know and I will explain in detail how to do it! I
have a Win 2000 with linux Red Hat on it too? is that what you want to do?

No. I do that sort of thing to other people all the time at InstallFests. That is, install Linux as dual-boot on a Windows machine.

The problem, which I have apparently just solved, is to make the W98
installer work on an emulated system. It seems necessary that the
disk image file to which W98 will be installed has a valid partition
table, and is otherwise completely blank except for a FAT file system.
I used FAT16 because I am working on a small 1GB disk image.

More details at the next KPLUG meeting, and following that on the WIKI.
