IIRC, Claude said that, at this point, should UCHUG submit a request to have their funds returned to them, the SDCS board would have to vote to "gift" the money to the new organization. Again, if memory serves, Claude didn't expect there to be any resistance to such a vote, as they see no reason to withhold the funds from UCHUG. UCHUG, however, has made no notice of intentions to receive their funding.

This was as of the April SDCS Board meeting. Reading the email here in -steer, I now believe that UCHUG hasn't made the request because they don't have their 501c3 status yet. Once they do, I'm not entirely certain UCHUG will make the request.
