waitaminute: managers _can_ edit properties of events (but not some
other things). Maybe it's tied up with workflow?

Comment on the general state of the web site as seen by the casual viewer.
I just went there to verify the date of the next InstallFest. I find
that the default font size is awfully small. I am looking at the page
in a window about 12" wide on a 1280x1024 18" LCD monitor. The actual
information on the Installfest page is in a box about 2.5" wide by 2"
high. Almost everything else is blank.
