Jeff Thanks for the reply about the battery. The site you listed just comes up as "under construction". Will do some research as my local supplier has to order the battery also. I'm using the old, standard baffles too and the snorkels are interesting. The homebuilt featured in the latest Kitplanes also showed the snorkels. One of my future projects is to move my Revmaster carb to the top of the engine which will require a new top cowl and baffling. Great Plaines reports picking up some 2-300 rpm by shorting the intake manifold. Worth a try but will have to solve the dripping of gasoline on top of a hot engine first.
