I have one comment on primers.  Be sure that you keep some slack in the
primer tube where it connects to the intake manifold.  The best thing is to
wrap one complete loop in the line about 2" diameter.  This is to allow some
flex in the line before it breaks.  Also be sure you check the line
regularly.  I had the cowl off my Stang about a month ago and found that the
copper tube was broken right where it went into the fitting on the intake
spider and it did have the loop in it.  Luckilly I found the break before I
wound up with a fire under the cowl from spraying my prime on the side of
the carb instead of into the intake.

Mine broke from a bend that was too sharp, but the constant vibration of the
engine can work harden the tube and break it also.
