The seals are attached only to the wing with 1/2" wide 3M #444 double sided tape. This allows free floating on the aileron. There was no noticeable difference in the handling characteristics other than the improved climb performance. Upon takeoff, I could immediately notice the improvement in performance and when I settled in at 100 MPH indicated, the proof was in the numbers.
