I definitely considered it, and if it were not for all the other things that would have had to be changed, I might have done it. I finally have a nice running VW, but really will get started on a Corvair sometime in the future, just for the fun of it and because I know that this engine will not last forever. With my luck, by the time I get ready to do it, there won't be any Vair parts left.
