Reports that I have heard from guys who have installed an O-235 in Zodiac 601s are that it is a dog engine. For its weight it does not come close to the HP that the O-200 delivers. Also several A&Ps have stated that most O-235s don't actually deliver their rated HP after they get alittle age on them. Yet look at Larry F's O-200 or Troy's O-85 hotrod.
