<Depending on the year of the 172 ? All the old ones would max out at about 118mph much less 135 knots !! I am not sure a new 172 could do the 135 knots>
I don't know much about flying But I thank what the original post said that the 172 dropped down so if that was the case the 172 wouldn't have to be able to fly at 135 knots at cruise. If desending he could easy fly at 135 knots or more. even still it would have been a shock to have some one to do that. Bob [email protected]
