As a new member to this group and someone who hopes to begin building soon I
realize my voice carries no weight. However I would ask those considering
leaving this group to please reconsider. I know that without the benefit of
this group and the knowledge and wisdom of it's members, my project will likely
never see completion. Even more importantly you could well be only the only
thing standing between me and deadly future crash. I have already learned a
lot by listening to this group and perusing the archives, but mostly I have
learned how little I really know, and how much I will need the advice and
opinions of this group.
For my sake and others who are hoping to build their dream, please
take some time and think of how important you really are to us. If you can help
myself and others keep from endangering ourselves and others by avoiding a
simple construction mistake, would it not be worth the frustration you feel
with other members of this group.
If it sounds like I am pleading to those thinking of leaving this group
to reconsider, then you are correct. The lives of myself , my wife and
others may well be saved through the benefit of your knowledge.
