A DPDT switch. That's amazing...I built an airplane and never thought of something so simple as that. Don't tell anybody!!!

Mark: Do not put a jumper between them as it will short the two ignitions together. The safest way is to switch the tach wire when you switch the ignition. That requires a separate deck on the switch but is the safest and most reliable.
