Those of you that have the four inch "Homebuilder's Special" swivel/locking tailwheel assembly need to check out http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/kgear.html#tailwheel if you bought it from Aircraft Spruce and need a replacement tailwheel. Looking at the photos of Wicks tailwheels, they appear to have the same problem discussed at the link. And if you are considering the whole assembly (which I highly recommend), you can save some real money and hassle by buying from the original manufacturer (Aviation Products).
