I removed a VW and installed an O-200 The weight was almost the same, The performance was great. The plane has been in storage and not registered since I sold it.I sure miss that little thing, It weighed in at 575 with the O-200. I understand it is somewhere around Tahlequah Okla. For those that had not seen 197 RS it was not as fast as most. The original builder of the Fuselage did not come off the top of the canopy but off the bottom. It created to much drag. He did not plan on the plane flying again so he destroyed the wings rudder elevator and cowling. The fuselage still saved me MANY hours of work.
