Some insurance companies only pay 80% on hull value. For years I only had
liability on my KR and Lancair. It was around $275 for the Lancair and $300
for the KR. I have less hours in the KR. I insured my Mooney for more than it
was worth so if I had to file a claim I would get full value back.
