Well the truth lies in putting the plane on a diet. I was very weight conscious
this time while building. On my first build I was not really concerned about
weight (don’t really know why) and wound up with a heavy KR. She flew great and
I wish I still had her. Anyway I built the top half of the fuselage using
prefab KR parts (turtle deck & front deck) which were my biggest weight savings
plus I designed my seat this time which lowered the overall height of the
fuselage by 2 1/2 inches. That also helped reduce weight. I will reveal other
modifications when I get to the gathering.
