Hey Sam, I would not recommend to use a "dual electronic ignition system" to replace the magneto which doesn't depend on your battery power.... The so called "dual ignition" is not exactly a redundant ignition system due to the following fact: (1) it very much depends on availability of uninterrupted supply of DC power on your aircraft, (2), the CCF (common cause failure) is a serious concern in all electronic systems....
This is one of the reasons why I am not a big fun of the current trend of the fly-by-wire design approach adapted by nearly all the major aircraft companies! Stay safe & healthy!
