I have zero access to the inside. That's my dilemma. Filler cap is 7
feet out on the wing and the only hole is the one the probe installs
in. I'll do some testing with scrap material and a torque wrench to see
what torque it takes to make the inserts spin. I don't see that being a
problem installing the nuts but maybe some day to remove the bolts if
they seize in any way. Seems they would need oxygen to rust and with
anti-seize and always covered with fuel that seems remote. The bolts
when removed after 15 years looked new.
I'll keep you posted.........
